Publication Frequency

Science, Engineering and Technology journal publishes articles "continuously," i.e. articles are published online as soon as they are peer-reviewed, accepted, and copy-edited. These articles are searchable on the journal website at Online First (i.e. publishing an online version of the article in advance of the print edition). The Journal collates them into archival "volumes" (one per year) and "issues" (2 issues per year) in April and October.

Although articles published at Online First do not have page numbers yet, readers can access these articles well before print publication. Also, authors can cite these articles before the current issue is concluded and published. Online First publishing considerably reduces the time it would have previously taken for critical discoveries in the research community to be communicated.

The Journal runs special issues to create collections of articles on specific topics. Special Issues are led by Guest Editors who are experts in the subject and oversee the editorial process for articles. Articles published in a Special Issue will be collected together on a dedicated page of the journal website. For any inquiries related to a Special Issue, please contact the Editorial Office.
