Revenue sources: The funding model of the journal relies on Article Processing Charges (APC). Additionally, we warmly welcome sponsorships and institutional support. Due to the generous support of our sponsors, the journal frequently facilitates the publication of articles without requiring payment of APCs. Please check the author guidelines to see if articles for the next issue have been sponsored.
Science, Engineering and Technology journal adopts a continuous publication model, whereby articles are promptly (continuously) published online upon completion of the peer-review, acceptance, and copy-editing processes. These articles are accessible and searchable on the journal website under the 'Online First' section, preceding the print edition. The journal organizes these publications into archival 'volumes' (one per year) and 'issues' (two issues per year), released in April and October.
Although articles published online first do not yet have page numbers, readers can access them well in advance of their print publication. This online-first approach significantly accelerates the dissemination of critical research findings within the scientific community.
Furthermore, the journal intends to arrange special issues aimed at compiling collections of articles centered on specific topics. These special issues will be curated by Guest Editors, esteemed authorities in their respective fields.
The journal intends to publish special issues in the future to further enrich its scholarly contributions.
Special issues are an integral part of our journal's commitment to disseminating cutting-edge research and fostering academic discourse. These issues consist of a collection of articles centered on a specific theme or topic within the journal's scope. Special issues aim to highlight recent advancements, provide in-depth analyses, and address emerging trends within the chosen subject area. By focusing on specific topics, special issues foster discussion, deepen understanding, and advance knowledge within the scientific community.
Objectives and Benefits of Special Issues are:
Proposal and Procedures
Special issues can be initiated by the Editorial Board or by Guest Editors who are recognized experts in the field. Proposals may stem from conferences, workshops, or collaborations among researchers. The process involves:
Proposal Submission:
Evaluation:
Call for Articles:
Peer Review:
Guidelines for Proposals
Proposals should balance a broad enough scope to attract diverse submissions while maintaining a focused theme for coherence. The proposal must include:
Guest Editors: Roles, Responsibilities, and Benefits
Selection of Guest Editors: Guest Editors may be selected by the Editorial Board or invited by the Editor-in-Chief based on expertise and reputation in the field. Qualifications include:

Submission Guidelines and Policies
Authors submitting to a special issue must adhere to the journal’s submission policies. All submissions will be managed online via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and undergo rigorous peer review.
Submissions by Editorial Board members must undergo independent peer review, and a Transparent Statement confirming this process must accompany the publication.

Additional Notes
Article Count: A special issue typically includes 5–20 articles, accompanied by an editorial by the Guest Editors. If fewer than 5 articles are accepted, they will be published in regular issues instead of forming a standalone special issue.
Consistency with Journal Policies: The review procedure, publication ethics, open access, copyright, and repository policies for special issues remain consistent with those of regular issues. Unethical practices may result in the cancellation of the special issue by the Editor-in-Chief.
Timeline: The timeline for the special issue will be collaboratively determined between the Guest Editors and the Editor-in-Chief and clearly communicated on the journal’s website.
Special issues enable the journal to address emerging trends and foster collaboration across disciplines. By offering a platform for focused research, we aim to advance scholarly discourse and contribute meaningfully to the scientific community.
